3 Ninjas never gets old!

A couple days ago, I was flipping through channels and i found the “3 Ninjas”. The last time i have seen this was probably a long time ago, maybe when i was about 8. The movie brought a lot of memories because i know that i use to watch this everyday when i was younger. Watching this movie again now that i’m older i found out how crazy i was when i was young thinking that the grandpa was actually fighting! You could really see that the person was not the grandpa and that they added some kind of padding in the belly area to make it seem like the double was fat. What i really did not notice was the humor by the kidnappers. Now, in my perspective, I think that the movie would be kind of boring without the kidnappers. I decided to put a video up from youtube to see how funny the kidnappers are. Hope you enjoy!

Leg Cramps

So today i was swimming at the Oak wood apartments and i experienced my first calf leg cramp. Having a calf cramp is way more painful then a thigh cramp. It was the most painfullest feeling i ever felt. While i was swimming, i tried out a move that the Olympians do and that is when i felt the pain. I supposedly pointed my foot and cramped my right calf. Now, luckily i was in the shallow end so i wouldn’t drown cause at that point i could not move my leg. When i felt my cave it felt like it all bulged up as if i was flexing my calf, but the scary part was that i was flexing my calf. It was a good thing that my friend was there to show me how to help it relax. What he showed me was to straighten my leg, push down on the grown, and don’t point you foot or else it will cramp even more. One of the reasons why you receive leg cramps is that your dehydrated and today i had football practice, so i might of not gotten enough water. One way that you can cure the cramp is to take a rolling cylinder object and place it under your leg and roll it back and forth. It will massage the spasms which will release from your leg.

Okay, so the first time i herd about this video was probably about a week ago at the park. Hearing some of the things they said about the video and how funny it is, i knew i had to watch it. U.S.A Basketball team making it 5-0

Winning there last exhibition game against Australia (87-76), they have been undefeated. They have been beating their opponents by an average number of 15 points. The teams that they have beaten are Canada(65-120), Turkey(114-86), Russia(68-89), Australia, and Lithuanian(84-120). Dwayne Wade has been the summer’s leading scorer in the exhibition games averaging 18 points a game. There next game will be against China in the 2008 Olympic Games.

This book is a story about a man who grows up knowing how to spend and use his money wisely. He learns almost everything about money from his rich dad and learns what not to do from his poor dad, which is his actual father. His real father isn’t bad in life, it’s just that he doesn’t know how to spend money even though he has his high school diploma and his college education.

Some of the things that the rich dad tells him is that you should always pay your self first, give, and master a formula, then learn another. Paying yourself first gives you your self discipline. Having self discipline, you would know what you should and should not buy, because at the end of the day you still need to pay taxes. Giving is always great because whenever you give, you get back in sometimes big amounts or small amounts. Last but not least, mastering formulas is like mastering a subjects. The more you know, the more you can make money off it. For example, maybe your not getting paid as much as you want to and you know how to cook. You can always open up a small stand and cook and make money on the side.

There is a lot things that you can take away from the book, but i the one thing i took away from it was having lots of assets. An asset is an item that has value and also useful. For an example, if there is an apartment for sale for $60,000 you should buy it for $50,000. Then you can put it out for rent for friends, or co-workers that need a place for about $2,500. In about three months you will earn back what you paid and could even gain money if the person decides to keep it for longer. In all, the book taught me a lot about money and how i should use it when i get older.

DJ Augustin is a McDonald’s All-American, Scholastic All-American, and a mamas boy.

At a young age Darryl Jerard Augustin (aka DJ) was always told to put family first, school second, and athletics third. After coming home from school he would have to do his homework before he can do anything. His mother, Vanessa, would give him a snack and then have him sit down and do his homework. When he was done with his homework he’d go out with his dad and shoot hoops. When he was six he was put into camps and trained with kids older then him. When he was 8, he led his team to the Biddy Ball National Championships. One thing that DJ thought was funny to him when he was little was that after one of his games an adult came up to him and asked him for his autograph. After he got his autograph the adult came up to his mother and said “It’s going to be worth something someday.”

Attending UT,(aka University of Texas) he averaged a GPA of 3.64. In basketball he averaged about 19 pts. and 5 assists a game. With all of the things that goes on with DJ whether it’s basketball or school he still calls his parents every night before they go to sleep. They say that they respect him a lot for doing that because he never misses a night to call them. Since his family had to move to Houston because of the Hurricane Katrina, it makes them feel even closer.

“I’m Yours” - Jason Mraz

The first time I herd this song I thought it was a real relaxing song because it sounded so calm. I like the sound of the guitar because to me i think that is what it makes it sound so relaxing. I like to listen to this song while I’m playing halo because I usually get mad at the game whenever somebody kills me, but the song keeps my calm and steady.

Link!: At the age of 16…I would be going to school, play basketball, and asking my parents for money. Not this 16 year old. He goes by the name of Michael Inoa. He will be signing with the Oakland A’s for $4.25 million dollars. I just hope that this will help the A’s become another Bay Area team to become the underdog of their league. Brandon Jennings by far has to be the best point guard in his age group. He use to go to Dominguez High (Compton), but then he transferred to Oak Hill Academy (Virginia) as a junior. He attended the ABCD camp tournament where all high school top basketball players play against each other around the nation. Now he will attend Arizona Wildcats.

One TV show that i have noticed is really funny is the show George Lopez. At first i saw commercials about it, but i always thought it was stupid. Fixed games by the referees?: Check the website on top and see how many games has been fixed by the refs. They say it has been going since the 2002 playoffs, but i think it’s been going on longer then that.
